Koriko - Giselle's Year (Summer: Entry Three - The Moon II)
A moment of respite against a curse
Welcome back to my playthrough of Koriko: A Magical Year. In this entry Giselle helps out our local werewolf.

Dear Wanderer,
It was almost the full moon when I was approached by Sasha again. I had told her where I lived if she ever needed anything from me. I regretfully still had no cure for her, but she wanted my help in another matter regarding the wolf inside of her.
Lately she had felt drawn to somewhere in the woods bordering Koriko but was scared to go alone. I agreed to go with her, and we set out on the day of the full moon. I immediately recognized the spot Sasha led me too. It was the pond Jaden liked to visit for inspiration.
When we got to the pond, Sasha actually looked calm for once. We spent the entire day there. We played in the water and had a nice picnic in the woods. I made sure to pack plenty of fruit for Marble. It felt nice. Freeing. No worries to burden any of us if only just for a day. Eventually, dusked arrived along with the first hint of stars and the full moon. Sasha looked scared, but I had promised to watch over her the entire night. I swore to make sure no harm befell her, or anyone else for that matter (I had warned Jaden not to leave her home that night, especially if she heard and wolves howling)!
When night arrived in full, I hid myself and Marble in the trees and bore witness to the nightmarish transformation that has plagued Sasha for however long now. It was horrible, but it only fueled my resolve to continue to seek out a cure for her. Though tonight, the wolf did something strange. Instead of rampaging like I had thought they would, the wolf simply stared up at the stars, somehow placated by them. Eventually it’s gaze was drawn to the pond, seemingly admiring how the stars reflected off its surface. We sat together, admiring the night’s beauty but in different places. Marble and I tucked away in the trees, and this creature who’s been haunting my friend on the ground below.
Eventually, morning came with all three of us exhausted. I walked Sasha home, and she thanked me the whole way back. I just told her I was glad she was okay. Sasha, I promise to find the cure to what’s plaguing you
.
Will Giselle find that cure? Well I suppose we’ll just have to wait and find out.
As always, thank you so much for reading and I hope you all have relaxing day!
Love the wolf doodle at the end, this was a nice entry, and maybe a sign that the curse isn't as simple as it may have seemed! Hope Giselle can help Sasha somehow soon.
