Welcome back to my playthrough of Koriko: A Magical Year. In this entry, Giselle brings a friend on a ride through the city.

Dear Wanderer,
I ran into Orla again today. They were outside playing a guitar on the side of the road. They noticed me and gave a bright smile, but a few more songs passed before they stopped playing to speak with me. Orla asked about my bike since they had seen me flying on it around the city. A thought crossed my mind, and I asked if they wanted a ride. Marble tried to scold me since my bike is technically only made for one person. Orla ignored her argument and accepted my offer anyway.
It was a little awkward trying to fit two people on my bike, but we managed somehow. My bike felt just as weightless as it normally did with just me and Marble, but this time I felt a tight grip around my torso. Orla always seems so confident and assured, so it was a little surprising to learn they had a fear of heights, even though they accepted my offer to fly around the city anyway.
I reassured Orla that everything would be fine and for them to just hold on tight. I took the three of us on a tour high above the city. Once Orla got used to the sensation of flying (and opened their eyes instead of having them closed in terror), they seemed to really enjoy it. I’ve seen Koriko from the skies countless times at this point, but there’s always a kind of thrill to it each time. Watching the people below, waving back to the few who happen to notice you, and bearing witness to all the little moments you might not catch otherwise.
I ended our adventure by landing us on top of the clock tower in the center of the city. It gave us a nice view of Koriko in the evening sun. I hope we can all have more nice days like this.
A nice simple entry as sometime you just need a simple day to pass with friends. Though I kind of wish I had a flying back. Make riding it a little more fun.
Anyway, thank you as always for reading and I hope you all have a lovely day.
The chill days are just as important as the big days! Its nice to read some witchy relaxation haha
