Dear Wanderer,
A strange circumstance has arisen. I have been helping a local fruit vendor with unloading her truck each market day, and as thanks she has given me a lot of her produce. It’s gotten to the point where I have more fruit than Marble and I could ever possibly eat. All I’ve eaten for the past month has been fruit and I feel like I’ve barely made a dent in what I’ve been given.
I’ve had to start giving away fruit to some of my friends and neighbors. I originally wanted to hold on to all of it because it saved me money on food, but wealth isn’t any good if all you do is hoard it. If it’s all just left to rot. It was nice to see everyone pleased about getting free fruit. Maybe that’s why the fruit vendor kept giving me some. Now I’m left with a reasonable amount of fruit, and enough room to enjoy other food in between.
A short and and simple entry to start out Giselle’s Summer, but that’s never a bad thing. Also the return on my amazing doodling skills. I have way too many colored pens so I have to use them somewhere.
